With the talk of free dining I have decided to write an article on the dining plans, which one is best for you and should you even add a dining plan to your reservation.

Let’s first discuss the different types of dining plans that Disney offers to their guests.

The first plan is the quick service plan, for the dining plan discussion we will be referring to the 2012 plans. Under this plan each guest staying in your room is entitled to 2 quick service meals and 1 snack per night. Guests 3-9 also get 2 quick service meals and1 snack per night.

The next plan is the basic dining plan, under this plan each guest is entitled to 1 quick service meal, 1 table service meal, 1 snack, and a refillable mug (which is somethingnew to the 2012 plan). The ...
